Two more names are now added to the 2017 Bizkaia-Durango UCI Women’s Team roster, just two weeks after the announcement of the contract extension for five riders and the signing of three more riders. This time it’s turn for two riders who already raced in 2016 in the Bizkaia-Durango jersey: Roos Hoogeboom and Yessica Pérez. Pérez made her debut with Bizkaia-Durango recently, at the three South African UCI races in which the team compited.

Roos Hoogeboom (Medemblik, the Netherlands, 1982) was a key piece for the Bizkaia-Durango UCI Women’s Team during the 2016 season. She got up to nine top-10 spots in races of the Spanish Cup and the Basque Cup, and she was also an important part of the victories of the team thanks to her great teamwork.

On the other hand, Yessica Pérez (Linares, Andalusia, 1992) made her debut in the pink Bizkaia-Durango jersey at the KZN Summer Series in South Africa, getting a top-20 in her first UCI race ever. This experienced triathlete will keep improving her performance in cycling in order to exploit her potential to the full.
