Bizkaia-Durango
The Bizkaia-Durango cycling team first appeared in the UCI Ranking in 2004, and it has kept its status every year since that date. This is the only Basque squad which has been able to be a UCI team for ten consecutive years.
Cyclists such as Joane Somarriba, Gema Pascual, Emma Johansson, Shara Gillow or more recently Ane Santesteban and Anna Sanchis have raced for Bizkaia-Durango since the team became a professional team.
Even being one of the teams with the most modest budget in the international scene, our cyclists compete along with the best riders in the world in the UCI ranked races they ride, like the World Cup races, the Giro Rosa or La Course by Le Tour.
