2020-09-09

The Bizkaia-Durango UCI Continental Team will race Giro d’Italia Internazionale Femminile (Giro Rosa) starting Friday. One more year this will be the most important stage race in the UCI Women’s WorldTour calendar.

The six riders representing Bizkaia-Durango at Giro will be Alice Maria Arzuffi, Ariana Gilabert, Nadine Gill, Lucía González, Lizzie Holden and Carla Oberholzer. This will not be an easy race for the Basque squad, but the riders will fight for the best possible results, trying to become protagonists in some stages.

The race, which will be the fifth race in the 2020 UCI Women’s WorldTour series, will start on Friday, September 11th, with a Team Time Trial in Grosseto (Tuscany). All of the stages will have hard courses — being the last two days the hardest. Stage 4 will also be remarkable due to its 170-km course.

All the info on the race course can be found at the Giro Rosa official site: girorosaiccrea.it.
